Established in 1965, the Ratnakanta Barkakati (Central) Library (R.K.B. Library) is housed in a separate three-storied building covering 690 sq. meters, including a well-equipped reading room.

Library Rules & Regulations
- Working Days: 10:00 AM - 04:30 PM
- Examination Days: 10:00 AM - 05:00 PM
- Vacation Period: 10:00 AM - 04:30 PM
- Note: Library remains closed on holidays.
All bonafide members of Dhing College are admitted. Students must collect the Library Membership Form from the library office by showing their original admission receipt.
- Faculty: 10 books for 180 days.
- Staff: 5 books for 90 days.
- Students (General): 2 books for 30 days (including grace).
- Students (BPL/Poor): 4 books for 30 days.
Mobile phones are strictly prohibited. Silence must be observed. Bags/Umbrellas must be kept at the property counter. Spitting and smoking are prohibited.
